OYO Marine Parade Hotel, Eastbourne Pier

Perfect location. The hotel is exactly opposite to the beach. It was so convenient to make multiple trips to the beach. Tesco express and take away shops/restaurants are within 2-3 minutes walking distance. Pizza restaurant is halal. Hotel also provides parking permit for the whole length of the stay for £2.50. Hotel has a small kitchen area with microwave, electric kettle and toaster. The manager also allowed us to use our small electric grill to grill fish. The manager at the reception is very professional. He makes sure that customers have a comfortable stay. He is friendly and helpful. We asked on help number for the iron, didn't realise that the manager was off duty as it was late night but he still dropped the iron to the hotel.

When my partner and I arrived, I won't lie, the outside didn't look great, but getting in, I was blown away by how nice the place was. The member of staff on was extremely helpful, helped my partner and I, who have mobility issues, with our bags, took the time to explain the elevator, the wifi, the bathroom, everything that we needed to know. Whenever we went downstairs, we were greeted by the friendly staff, and if we needed anything, like extra pillows, they made that happen quickly. The whole building had a very pleasant ambience, and it was nice to just sit in there. One thing I did note was how the tv signal was good, the rooms had all the needed facilities, and honestly, the price was better than any other place in the area. I know sometimes the smaller hotels aren't good, but I've stayed at some of the bigger hotels and found them lacking in so much. The staff were very respectful and welcoming as well. We needed to order something online during our stay, they received it, and kept it safe for us, and when we ordered in, the staff brought the food up for us. Honestly, I can't say enough nice things about this place. Definitely gonna visit again!

Check in / out was smooth & quick. Ample parking on road outside (free between 6pm & 8pm). Plenty of tea/coffee provided for in-room facilities, chocolates and biscuits was also a nice touch. There was a lift in the hotel so didn't need to hump bags up the stairs. Room was clean. We were looking for a budget hotel to sleep overnight whilst visiting family in the area so didn't spend too much time in the hotel as only really looking for a good value clean, safe place to stay overnight with free parking overnight nearby. This hotel met that brief and would recommend for others seeking similar.

The room was actually lovely compared to the reviews. I wasn't expecting my room to be so nice, it was clean and fresh. I did find a hair in the towels which were left unfortunately. For the price it was good and fair with my room having a sea view which was a lovely addition. The walls were thin and I heard people snoring in the next room aswell as their TV quite loud late at night. The website did day there was room service available but this didn't seem to be an option and there was no breakfast included which I knew about. Parts of the hotel towards the ground floor did smell veey damp but the room itself was absolutely clean and fresh. The staff seemed helpful and friendly enough. For a room only it was good.

The hotel is great for the price you pay, the rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Honestly, I have stayed here twice and there's not much i can complain about. Its not your 5* hotel but its very homely and the beach is just outside. Everything is in a walking distance and parking permit provided is so cheap. Will be here again soon :)
